Happy February! Upgrades and updates in technologies are absolutely essential and normal in order to enhance the business and open the door to commercial benefits.
Likewise, HubSpot constantly updates and strengthens the product as the customers provide feedback and are deliberately working towards improvising the features. Let's see what HubSpot updates have this time for you!
Earlier in HubSpot, Quote-Based workflows were a part of Sales Enterprise, but now You can create these workflows with a Sales Professional license. But, this update will not include the functionality to create a quote from the workflows, and Quote Approvals will still be an Enterprise feature.
You can now create a quote-based workflow even if you don't have the Enterprise Subscription.
Earlier, Salespeople had the ability to use only three available templates for generating quotes. This was somewhat a limitation because:
Most of the customers were very particular about the look of their quotes, if there could be an addition in terms of the information that is visible on the quote or if the styling could be somewhat different.
Some of the customers were also figuring out a way to send complex contracts. They were keen to know whether they could add a section or can remove some sections that they didn't want, like removing line items tables.
With the new update, custom quotes enable customers to create a variety of templates tailored to their exact quoting needs.
More varieties of templates are available for quotes generation.
HubSpot gives the provision of creating custom surveys, which could sometimes have 10-12 questions or could have questions in batches. And now, with the new updates, you have the functionality to break down your long custom surveys into multiple pieces, which means you can have a certain set of questions as a combined step or different steps.
Helps in creating engaging feedback surveys that also allows for the grouping of questions in a logical and progressive manner.
In the new updates, you can now add an open-text code snippet to the head of HTML in the settings tab of the Knowledge base article editor.
It helps users to customize which knowledge base articles are indexable by the search engines.
A webhook is a lightweight API that powers one-way data sharing triggered by events. It is typically used to connect two different applications.
You can now make GET requests to receive certain data from other tools and services.
You can also use the data obtained by the webhook's response in the rest of your workflow, and last but not least, you can also test your webhook actions before taking it to live.
Pull in or pull out the data with the help of Automation.
You can track and analyze data from all your events to optimize your marketing efforts and event strategy. Once you have added this object type in hubspot, you are all set to create custom properties for the same, create and edit your marketing events.
With the new updates, you are now also able to filter out the contact lists based on marketing event data.
This new filtering option will help in the segmentation of contacts who have:
More efficient and drilled-down segmentation of the contacts.
Earlier, If you wanted to check the history of the associated objects like an associated deal, a company, or a ticket with a contact. We used to open the record from the association cards, but now you have visibility into the history of record associations directly from the record dashboard, that too at one place.
Easy access to all the associated objects of a record in one place.
The conversations APIs allow the developers to manage and interact with the conversations inbox, channels, and messages.
By using these APIs, you can:
Deep down information about the customer communications and that too from outside the Inbox.
That's all about the HubSpot for March 2022. We hope these updates will be helpful for you, and you can improve your experience with HubSpot.
