1.1 Skip Dates in Workflows 

Workflows is a powerful automation tool in HubSpot. With the help of workflows, you can automate your marketing, sales, and service processes. 

When you set up your workflows, you also set the time to execute that workflow. With the new feature, the workflow setting allows you to skip the specific date when you don’t want the workflow to run.

How does it Work

  • Go to Workflow > Settings in your HubSpot account.
  • Under the General section, you will find ‘What upcoming dates do you want to pause actions from executing?’.
  • Click +Add days.
  • Enter the dates you want to pause your workflow from executing.

This feature allows you to pause your mail for the holiday or any other day when you think people will be away from their desks and won’t open their mailboxes.

1.2 Google Search Ad Campaign Creation

HubSpot allows you to connect your various ad accounts like Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn with your HubSpot account. From there, you can create ads and run campaigns. 

Search campaigns in HubSpot marketing allows you to place your ads across Google’s vast network of search results. You can show these ads to the people who actively search online for your products and services.

  • Go to Marketing > Ads in your HubSpot account.
  • Click Create campaign and select Google Ad search Campaign.
  • Select a landing page.
  • Create an ad.

  • Choose the action Internal email notification.
  • Go to the body field; you will see rich text toolbars with new and enhanced rich text options.

1.4 Commenting on Forms

In the forms tool, now you can leave messages, tag teammates for feedback, and collaborate in-app to execute great marketing without even leaving HubSpot. It helps in you having seamless teamwork.

If you are working on a campaign, you'll often have questions, thoughts, or feedback that you want to share with your team. Rather than going to any other app, you can do that right here in the form tool.

How does it Work

  • Go to Marketing > Lead capture > Forms in your HubSpot account.
  • Click Create a form or hover over the form name and click edit.
  • Click drop-down Actions in the right corner.
  • Click on Comment.
  • You can view or add comments there.

1.5 Export Blog Posts as a CSV file

Earlier, you can export blog posts from HubSpot as an HTML file. Now, with the new update, you can export HubSpot-hosted blog posts as CSV files. 

How does it Work

  • Go to Marketing > Website > Blog.
  • Click on More tools in the left navigation menu.
  • Select the Export all blog posts (CSV) option.

This update will help you to transfer your blog from one HubSpot account to another HubSpot account quickly.

2. What is the Latest in Sales Hub 

2.1 New Sales Forecasting Tool

The new sales forecasting tool helps managers and reps track progress towards their goals and forecast where they'll end up at the end of the month or quarter.

Many sales teams still use spreadsheets to project their sales forecast, making the forecasting a little complicated. Mismatched data or inaccurate forecasting can also lead to inefficiency of team or frustration. With the forecasting tool, sales managers can easily forecast sales and help reps understand which deals need more attention.

  • Go to Sales > Forecast from the left side menu bar.

With the Task Home, you can create tasks, see your upcoming jobs, meetings, prospect activity, and performance metrics in one place. 

The new ‘Task’ tool will give you an overview of your past performance, show how many deals you have created, how many calls and meetings you have attended.

3. What is the Latest in Service Hub

3.1 Multiple JIRA Issue to a HubSpot Ticket

If you have integrated Jira with your HubSpot account, now you can add multiple Jira Issues to a single HubSpot ticket. This will help you see if there are any Jiras associated with HubSpot tickets directly within the CRM, and also, you can associate new Jira's as necessary.

How does it Work

Associate multiple Jira Issues to a single HubSpot ticket from the side panel for that ticket in HubSpot. Each Jira issue will display on its card. You can associate up to 10 issues with a single ticket.

  • Sales/Marketing teams can now see all Jiras that are associated with a company or contact and be aware of the issues that are still open before they reach out to their client.

Optimizing your content, images, page speed, including keywords in URL, Compelling Title Tag, and Meta Description, using internal linking are some SEO practices that will help you increase your website/blog traffic.

  • Go to To set goals in HubSpot, you can create custom goals.
  • Go to Reports > Goals in your HubSpot account.
  • Click "Create goal" in the top right corner.
  • Choose "Create from scratch" and click "Next."

Apex domain hostingThe new update allows HubSpot to support apex domain hosting and redirects. Customers who set up an apex hosted or redirected domain will get issued a standard SSL certificate upon setup completion.

Redirect: This subdomain won't host any content but automatically redirects to another domain connected in HubSpot. Accounts with CMS Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription can connect the root/apex domain as a redirect domain to send visitors from the root domain to a subdomain. For example, https://website.com  ---to--->   https://www.website.com.

How does it Work

  • Go to Domains and URLs from the main navigation bar of your HubSpot account.

5. Bonus Updates

5.1 Google Meet App by HubSpot

This app will let you send meeting links and conference call details to your HubSpot prospects automatically. It will turn every meeting booked in your HubSpot CRM into a Google Meet meeting.  

How does it Work

  • Go to the App marketplace in your HubSpot account.
  • Search Google meet.
  • Click Connect app.

You can use the Google Meet integration to send meeting links to your contacts and record them in your HubSpot account.

5.2 HubSpot for QuickBooks in 'Premium App'

The HubSpot for QuickBooks app is now available in the "Premium Apps" section of the QuickBooks app store. This feature will enable customers to push relevant quotes and/or deal information directly into QuickBooks Online Advanced.

How does it Work

  • Go to the App marketplace in your HubSpot account.
  • Search for Quickbook integration.
  • Click Connect App, and log in using your QuickBooks Online details.

By integrating QuickBooks with HubSpot, you can create invoices directly from the deal record in HubSpot, view invoice information, and see payment events on the deal timeline.
